When I started it, this web site, was just to fill my time
Little did I know then, just how I'd fill each line
Many
weeks have passed since then, and hours I've spent on here
But each one who signs my guest book, fills my heart with cheer
I've seen so many people's thoughts, and oft their sorry tales
They tell me of their histories, and oft about their
ails
I'd would like to answer, each and every one
But sadly cannot do this, and so just write to some
Unless
they ask me to of course, then I try to write
So if you haven't heard just yet, who knows someday you might
But please
know that I thank you, from the bottom of my heart
You remind me of the reason, that this web site I did start
Not
just to fill the many hours, sat in front of here
But so to help the other folk, who now I hold most dear
Even if
you haven't signed, I also thank you too
Because you have taken time to look, I hope it's of help to you
So,
if you have time upon your hands, and wonder what to do
Please think on what I've said, it just may work for you
It's
a daunting thought at first, though better than you think
Once you start it seems to carry you, so step up to the brink
Try it out and maybe, you will be surprised,
Because it just appears to grow, before your very eyes.
Before you
know it, time has passed, and you now have a page
Or maybe even several, it doesn't take an age.
I intended one
small page, now several pages show
Some days they seem to come so fast, others the words won't flow
Don't worry if
this happens, there's no deadline to meet
So take your time, go back to it, take time to feel your feet
When you are
ready you will know, just what you need to do
Remember at the start of it, this page is all for you
Tell your tale,
it interests folk, they like to hear you see
Then you will have a guest book too, and enjoy it just like me
