We now decide to update the dining room. We have a new floor put down and ecide on ceramic tiles to match the ones in
the kitchen, luckily these were on off at the loal DIY store, so we were pleased at that. It looks so different
just by having that done. Then I thought I would remove the pads of carpet which were on the stairs, they are opne plan so
instead of putting more carpet pads down I thought I'd try just staining the treads, and seeing how they looked like that.
We were pleased with the look, and it didn't seem any noisier, so that is how we left them.
